Stage 1

I had my check up yesterday in Megaclinic at SM Megamall. I went there to consult about the status of my blood pressure.

Unlike my previous consultations in regards to my hypertension issues, this one was really the best consultation session that I had.

Dra. Supe was the one on-shift by that time, and she was the one who really made it clear to me my present status and the things that I will encounter if I will act now to prevent this hypertension.

We went through a question and answer portion to know my health history. Then based to what she learned, I was diagnosed to be on a Stage 1 Hypertension.

Definition: A minimum blood pressure value of 140/90. Stage 1 Hypertension is an early form of high blood pressure, and may require treatment with medicine, together with frequent monitoring, in order to avoid progression to Stage 2 Hypertension.

She told of of the things that I need to do to prevent the case. 1 hour of walking a day for 5 days a week, less fatty/sweet/salty foods and to avoid fastfoods if possible. She cleared it to me that hitting the gym now or doing a die-hard diet will not help me to pull down my high blood pressure anymore. She told me that I should have done that 2 years ago.

So to prevent myself of entering the Stage 2 Hypertension, I have to take medications to gain relief of the symptoms and to do a lot of tests to figure out if it already affected my heart and kidney, and to prevent this condition to be worse.

I told my mom about the situation and she got worried. She even wanted to send my brother here to watch out for me now that she knew I was alone at night since my roomie just transferred apartment.

So there goes the best luck for me. I just hope that my blood pressure will not hit me while I'm sleeping. I'm afraid that there's no one I could call to if that would happen.

Its like.. wait.. read it one by one.. hehehe.. Monday - We went to Trinoma then SM North just only to find out that what I'm looking for will be found on Maldita (for my top) and Blue Navy (for my pants) of SM Megamall! We stayed til closing. Tuesday - We spent the whole after work time at Megamall til closing again. We went back for the girls' outfit this time and for me to get my pants at Blue Navy because it happened to be so long for me.. (eh sabi ko nga, hindi naman ako katangkaran.. sorry naman! kaya ayun, pinarepair pa.) Wednesday - Thank goodness coz I went straight home from work! Early to bed ako kahapon! as in TV Patrol palang isplak na ko! nyahahahaha! Today - Megamall then Shangrila.. Then there ends our hunt for clothes! (Buti nalang tapos na! whew!) Maybe I'll be starting t...

2 Months Later

Last post was kinda dramatic. But today's will be cut short. I'll surely get back to patch things up to where I ended up on my last entry. Right now's going on smoothly. I'm just glad that I didn't had to lose him back then.

Before anything else, I would like to give emphasis on this one. Someone told me this when I invited this person to see my blog. please read: "i have no interest in reading other blogs kasi unless its something interesting in it, ayuko kasi basahin yung mga blogs nun mga gusto lng magpapansin or those who'd put their one-sided opinion. I couldn't care less bout people muttering over their problems or whatever their little existence wants to rub on others.................." How will you react on that.. Bloggers!? BEWARE! This is an unexpected long post! I was at Robinson's Galleria last night to attend Nuffnang's first movie premiere that featured Burn After Reading . There I met one of my blogmates, Edelweiza , who was also there when I came early. We had some little chats like, "Ikaw pala yan!" and "Hi! Ako nga!" Then we had some pictorial with the poster? tarpoline? or what should we call that?! There were a LOT of bloggers who attende...
